Seems blessings are pouring to all Filipino netizens. Google adsense offered its Pinoy adsense publishers with an opportunity to receive their earnings through Western Union yesterday and just this morning, I got the information from Janette Toral that Filipinos can now send and receive paypal payments.

Finally, Filipinos can now participate in online earning programs that pay through paypal. Here are some online earning programs and companies that Filipinos can now take advantage of now that paypal is here:

Update: I have removed the links. Please check them out at Jobz Online

Note: I have registered to some of these programs but I have not actually tried all of them. Nevertheless, all these earning programs are free to join.

Google is assumed to have done away with the page rank system and is presumed to be considering another system to rank blogs and websites.

Google used to update page rank every 3 months and it has been almost 6 months since the last page rank update. Will this affect the system through which sites like reviewme and blogvertise determine the pay for their bloggers?

Government leaders in Kuala Lumpur want to control bloggers after corruption allegations on Inspector General of Police Musa Hassan and former Anti-Corruption Agency chief Zulkipli Mat Noor emerged in the internet. Musa Hassan was alleged to have accepted bribes to release three criminals.Government leaders believe blogs are being used to post slander against government leaders.

According Nazri Abdul Aziz, the minister in charge of legal affairs:

“Slander by bloggers, if not curtailed, will in the end cause the people to lose their confidence in the government, and it is for this reason that they should be made accountable for their report.”

Nazri reportedly said it is time to control blogs “to avoid slander being hurled against leaders”.Bloggers are also warned to exercise caution in their articles and to report directly to the Anti-Corruption Agency, rather than make unfair accusations on their blogs and websites.
